Madeit! Ambassador Program

Looking to make a difference in Baltimore while gaining real-world career experience you can add to your resume? Madeit! is the program for you. No other program in Baltimore will provide you with workforce skills and the opportunity to impact thousands of underserved individuals and communities around the world.


COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR PROGRAM


Do you consider yourself a leader? Do you have a passion for networking and event planning? Do You want to gain valuable skills while volunteering to support a growing non-profit organization? Our Community AMBASSADOR PROGRAM is designed to help you realize your vision for the future, helping you established valuable connections, and help you gain marketing, fundraising, networking, and training skills to help you further your career goals.


What is a Community Ambassador? The Community Ambassador program gives individuals the experience of being an active participating volunteer and cheerleader for Madeit! Foundation, Inc. Ambassadors will take part in planning events, fundraising, recruiting volunteers, helping at upcoming events, acting as a spokesperson, media & social media representative, and volunteer. A core component of being a Community Ambassador is that you are ambitious, with a passion for people and a willingness to make the ask on behalf of the organization.


What the Program Offers: Community ambassadors will gain valuable experience through learning opportunities, hands-on experience, leadership development, coaching and mentoring. Ambassadors will complete the program with real industry experience and professional experience that can be carried into the workforce.


A Commitment to Integrity: Community Ambassadors make a commitment to help raise funds on social media and in their community without a set number of hours per month. Participants will need to take our online training program to understand what Madeit does. All marketing materials will be provided. Ambassadors will be encouraged to submit proposals for funding and sponsorships, and commit to bringing their newfound knowledge back to the community where it can be shared with others.


Program Requirements:

In order to be eligible for the Ambassador Program, a person must:

Must be willing to use their network.

Must have a personal network to tap into.

Must have active Social Media.

Complete the online training course.

Be at least 18 or have parents permission.

Complete an application, short essay of “My Made story”- what does success mean to you)

Have a passionate desire to be a leader, mentor, and fundraise.

Interviews with established ambassadors and Executive Director

will determine final eligibility.

Above all, being a community ambassador requires that a person display ambition and leadership in achieving his or her educational and professional goals.
